Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their client's team. This role is based onsite and involves Mastercam programming, operating CNC mills, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Mastercam programming of machines.
  • Operate controls and functions of CNC Mills.
  • Set up CNC machines and machine the parts to customer's specifications.
  • Run multiple machines as needed. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Troubleshoot for loading and unloading parts.
  • Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and dimensions.
  • Inspect parts per print.
  • Clean and maintain machining equipment.
  • Ensure all work orders are signed off and inspections are complete.
  • Promote a positive team environment by following all company and safety policies.
  • Project a favorable image of the organization at all times.
  • Follow the organization's grooming and dress standards.
  • Keep the Department Lead promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities asked of you in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Perform any other job duties as requested by the Department Lead or Management.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or other powered devices needed for moving material and maintain certification.
  • Loads and unloads materials into or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting support.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Keep work areas and spaces clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • MASTERCAM Programming preferred.
  • Experience with Haas EC 400 and Haas UMC 750.
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
  • Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
  • Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Sheet metal manufacturing experience.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.
